Promoting solidarity St. Martin Catholic Social Apostolate is a grass-root organization that responds to problems of several groups of vulnerable people in the communities. The organization does not directly target these beneficiaries, but instead aims to promote solidarity in the community by building a capacity of volunteers that can take care of the needy among them. The activities of St. Martin are divided amongst 5 integrated Community Programmes for:
Sharing talents and resources St. Martin CSA believes that each person has talents and resources. Therefore the organization aims at building communities in which people are ready to share with each other their talents and resources in a spirit of love and solidarity, communities in which people with special vulnerabilities have been given a central position. This is done in the belief that in such a process of sharing, all people, the rich and the poor, the strong and the will gain and will grow to full potential. Only through community St. Martin CSA does not directly target the vulnerable. The focus is on the able people, on the community, which in turn will take care of the needy people among them. Solutions to the problems of the beneficiaries are always looked for by the community and in the community itself. This is done by working with a network of volunteers.
